Joaquim graduated in Accounting and Business Administration at the Lisbon Institute of Accounting and Business Administration.
With 20 years' experience in the logistic and transport sector he was CFO of the Pinto Basto Group and Managing Director of Pinto Basto Transport and Distribution. He has taken part in the mergers of several Portuguese transport companies.
Since 2001 he is Managing Director of JLebre Transitario Lda, a firm that works with major international groups in the logistics and transport sector.
Joaquim speaks Portuguese, Spanish and English.
