He is a strategy and corporate development professional with over 20 years experience in the transport and third party logistics sector.
With a degree in geography (BA Hons) from Durham University and a MBA from Cass Business School in London, Mark has held senior Corporate Development positions with Hays Plc (including its logistics division, now part of Kuehne+Nagel), Unipart Logistics and most recently with £750m revenue per annum leading European logistics business TDG, where he was Group Corporate Development Director. Mark’s career also includes a spell with leading merchant bank Dresdner Kleinwort Benson.
Mark has experience in mergers & acquisitions, for both small and large scale corporate transactions, business unit strategic planning and group corporate strategy development. In 2008 Mark advised on the sale of TDG to DouglasBay Capital Plc.
He has a broad international experience throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
